7 ways to make someone’s day at work while social distancing

1. MAKE EYE CONTACT AND SMILE

2. SAY PLEASE AND THANK YOU

There are plenty of opportunities to say please and thank you at work. Show your appreciation and make someone feel good – either by mentioning it directly to them or as a little note.

3. SOCIALISE WHILE SOCIAL DISTANCING

Start a conversation with someone you have never spoken to at work, making sure to stay two meters apart to stay safe. Not sure what to talk about? Ask them about themselves, find out about their interests outside of work and show a genuine interest in what they're saying.

4. LISTEN

7. TAKE A BREAK

In such a busy world, we all need to take a break. It's a great way to give the mind a break and boost productivity. Just make sure to keep a distance from others.
