We're pleased to welcome 7 new clients to our stunning business centre - Orega Piccadilly - in Manchester. These include businesses attracted to the city on the back of the Hello Northwest initiative launched by the North West Development Agency and MIDAS in 2010.Under the initiative, serviced office providers offer new businesses to Manchester a free desk for a year. Among those taking advantage of this offer at Three Piccadilly Place are Scottish-registered healthcare training company Healthimo and Anglo Australian business consultancy The Corporate Planet.

In addition, 3 interlinked government-funded charities in the education sector have taken a total of 19 workstations at Orega Piccadilly. Teach First, which recruits and trains top graduates to teach in schools in challenging circumstances, and which has moved from elsewhere in the city centre, has signed for 11 workstations for 2 years. Future Leaders, which helps train heads, has moved from Whitefield, Greater Manchester, while Teaching Leaders, which trains middle leaders in schools, has established a North West base for the first time.

The 7th new client at Orega Piccadilly is Rapid Addition which provides software solutions to the global economic marketplace, including the London Stock Exchange. It has taken 10 workstations for a year.

Helen Davies, Orega’s business centre manager in Manchester, comments: “3 Piccadilly Place is fast becoming the location of choice for a wide range of companies, with particular appeal to government-funded bodies and those seeking a UK base. The siting of the building directly opposite Manchester Piccadilly railway station makes it very convenient for both employees and visitors, while the flexibility of the space and its excellent BREEAM environmental rating make it a very efficient option for companies seeking to keep costs in check.”

The North West Joint Improvement Partnership, an alliance of agencies that work together to produce and implement policy on adult social care, health and wellbeing, already occupies 16 workstations in the business centre, while the NHS is one of 3 Piccadilly Place’s conventional office tenants.
