It’s now less than 100 days until the Rio 2016 Olympics and the British Cycling team are cramming in as much practice as possible. The Tour de Yorkshire ended on a positive note this week after days of headlines for the sport. This week we look at how Chris Latham is progressing on his #RoadtoRio.

What is Chris doing now?

"Unfortunately, the short answer is not much. The long answer is: I sustained a knee injury a couple of weeks ago. I have been working with the physio to get me back on track then raced on the 24th of April in the Rutland Melton Classic - 180km of brutal terrain, gravel and field's. Unfortunately, my knee wasn’t quite ready for this so I’ve had to retire from the race earlier than expected. Since then I've been 'game ready'ing'. What is this you ask? It’s basically an armband that inflates and pumps freezing cold water round your knee. This is 100x better than a bag of frozen peas and fingers crossed I will be fine for the trip to California on the 2nd of May at 3.30AM..." - Chris
