We are delighted to announce our support of Ugandan based charity 1moreChild for the third consecutive year.
On 26th May, Orega’s managing director Zachary Douglas will be joined by four others to complete a 400 mile cycling challenge to raise more than just their heart rates. The aim of their cycling challenge is to raise funds and awareness for 1moreChild, a childrens charity dedicated to providing healthcare, education and constant support to some of the world’s poorest children in Uganda. Refreshingly, 100% of all donations go directly to supporting the children.
In conjunction with Ride25, Zach and #TeamOrega will put in some pedal power to cycle from Rome to Bari. This particular leg, the ‘Pioneers Challenge’, is entirely dedicated to raising money for 1moreChild.
Zach along with Andrew Waugh, Tristan Douglas, John Williams and Tom Leefe are the five riders that make up #TeamOrega. Last year, the team cycled Milan to Rome covering 390 miles and raising over £10,000 for 1moreChild.
